Georgia English is a songwriter and performer based in Nashville, TN.

English developed her voice and songwriting by busking in San Francisco subway stations as a teenager and learning from seasoned roots musicians. Monterrey County Weekly calls her “an invigorating blend of modern and retro.” In 2013 she licensed her song Learn To Be My Fool to Ask Me Anything – a feature film starring Martin Sheen, Britt Robertson, and Justin Long. She received Berklee College of Music’sSongwriting Achievement Award in 2013, and the SESAC Award in 2014.

Georgia and her band, The Jukebox Kids, brings authenticity and unforgiving energy to their shows. Their sets combine original material with arrangements of Bessie Smith, Jackie Wilson, The Band, and more. They play regularly in Nashville and tour frequently in the South and East coast.
